Dr. Thomas Shimshak has moved back to Milwaukee as of first quarter 2004 to the Advanced Cardiovascular Institute with office locations at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center and Elmbrook Memorial Hospital.  His clinical practice is devoted to coronary and peripheral intervention. He is an active participant in clinical research and an investigator in numerous clinical trials. A frequent course director, proctor, and lecturer, he also serves on the editorial board of Catheterization and Cardiovascular Diagnosis and is the author of numerous publications in interventional cardiology.  Dr. Shimshak also performs endovascular repair of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms and percutaneous stent procedures of the carotid, renal, and mesenteric arteries.
