Dr. Samuel Wann is a non-invasive Cardiologist with particular expertise in cardiac diagnostic imaging, he acts as the Medical Director for the Diagnostic Laboratories of Wisconsin Heart and Vascular Clinics. In 1994, Dr. Wann led the first clinical cardiovascular MR unit in Milwaukee. Dr. Wann has a number of specialty certifications, including Diplomate, American Board of Internal Medicine (1974), Diplomate, Subspecialty of Cardiovascular Disease, ABIM (1979), Certification, special competency in echocardiography, ASExam (1995) and Certification in nuclear cardiology, CNNC (1995). He is a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, Premedical Honorary Society and the recipient of the Best Teaching Service Award by the Medical College of Wisconsin (1979-89).
